Find people search has grown to be one of the main searches on the net now. Over 30% of searches are searching for folks with which they have lost connection.

One of the stories about reconnection hits really close to home – it’s the story of my Uncle. When my Uncle was “young” he and his spouse had a child but their relationship did not work out. They ended up splitting up and he did not hear anything from his son until he was eighteen but he still did not feel that he was ready to be in contact with him.

10 years later he felt as if his life was gotten back together enough to contact his son… problem? Yes, he had no idea where his son was or how to contact him. The place where he had last heard of his son and ex companion living was a no go since they had not lived there for quite some time. I talked to him and told him that he could actually use find folks search to find his son on the internet. I did a folks search on the world wide web and I found a couple of records that had the same name as him. I got the results and one of the sites gave us not only his address but his current telephone number!

There may be some folks that try to get in contact with others again on Google search. At times this can be done but it is not the greatest way to go about it since the results can awfully be anybody. If you decide to search through Google make sure you add some additional information on your search like a birth date so that you can find the correct person.

The whitepages are sometimes used when people are trying to search for lost loved one but once again they are not the greatest place to do people searches. I have not had any success with finding individuals on the internet through whitepages but you can take a peek if you want.
